Hello, I’m Ashley Skow, Instructional Designer.

As a former educator with a diverse background in teaching, including elementary education, special education, and English-language instruction, I’ve always been driven by the desire to empower others through education.

I am currently transitioning into the dynamic field of instructional design, and I am excited to leverage my teaching experience and self-taught skills in e-learning to create interactive learning experiences. Although my professional journey has primarily been rooted in traditional education settings, my personal strengths and dedication have sparked a desire to dive into adult learning.

One of my proudest achievements is my proficiency in Articulate Storyline, which I’ve honed through self-directed learning. I recently had the opportunity to apply my skills in e-learning development by creating a captivating simulation. This project not only showcases my technical abilities but also ignited my passion for crafting interactive and engaging learning experiences.

Outside of my professional endeavors, you can often find me on the dance floor. I find joy in self-expression through movement and the connections I’ve forged through dance. Whether I’m designing learning modules or perfecting my dance technique, I thrive on the creative process and the opportunity to continuously learn and grow.
